Sterile Processing Technician

We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to support a busy hospital Sterile Processing Department. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with surgical instrument processing, sterilization, decontamination, and tray assembly.

Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination, cleaning, inspection, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments.
• Prepare surgical trays, instruments, and case carts.
• Perform steam sterilization and monitor biological and chemical indicators.
• Process flexible cystoscopes and other surgical scopes.
• Operate Steris sterilizers, washers, and Stryker VP4 equipment.
• Support surgical services including General, Ortho, Urology, Neuro, and Robotic cases.
• Maintain accurate sterilization and equipment documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Sterile Processing experience.
• Previous travel experience required.
• Experience with decontamination, sterilization, and surgical tray assembly.
• Experience with flexible cystoscopes and endoscope reprocessing.
• Experience with Steris and Stryker equipment preferred.
• CBSPD or HSPA/IAHCSMM certification preferred.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
