About the Opportunity

We are recruiting Sterile Processing Technicians for a growing surgical department in Boston. Multiple positions are being added as the department continues to expand.

This is an opportunity to work with specialized surgical instrumentation in a fast-paced academic medical environment while building a long-term career in Sterile Processing.

Available Shifts

• Days - 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Evenings - 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Overnights - 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Multiple shift options are available, and training may take place on a different shift than the permanent schedule.

What You'll Do

• Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments
• Prepare instrument trays and support operating room teams
• Process specialized surgical and microsurgical instrumentation
• Perform instrument tracking and documentation
• Follow infection prevention and quality standards
• Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams

Clinical Environment

You'll support a high-volume surgical environment with specialties including:

• ENT
• Ophthalmology
• Head & Neck
• Microsurgery
• Scope reprocessing

Training & Career Growth

New team members receive approximately three months of structured onboarding with a buddy system.

Opportunities for advancement may include:

• Lead Technician

Qualifications

• Sterile Processing experience
• CRCST or CBSPD certification
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow established procedures and infection prevention standards
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Dental or specialty sterile processing experience may be considered depending on experience and certification.

Compensation

• $23.34 – $33.37/hour, based on experience
• Overtime opportunities
• Sign-on bonus may be available
• Full-time and part-time options

Pay: $23.34 - $33.77 per hour
