Sterile Processing Technician - Evening Shift

Role Overview: Responsible for maintaining standards in set assembly, decontamination, inspection, containerizing, and sterilizing surgical instruments to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Collaborates with perioperative nursing staff to provide sterile instrument sets and equipment promptly. Supports workflow continuity and delivers superior customer service.

Responsibilities: Performs sterilization, assembly, and storage of medical supplies and equipment. Ensures instruments meet quality standards and are ready for use. Assists in maintaining smooth operations and excellent service delivery.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a Central Services Processing or Surgical Tech program preferred; experience in lieu of certification accepted.
• Prior work experience as a Central Service or Surgical Tech required if no certification.
• Certifications such as CCST or CST are required upon hire if no prior experience.
