Shape the Future of Animal Health from Inside the Cleanroom
At Zoetis in Charles City, you’ll step into a regulated cleanroom and help manufacture biologics that safeguard animals worldwide. If you enjoy hands-on work, learning new technical skills, and collaborating with a close-knit team, this Aseptic Technician I opportunity was built for you.
A Day in the Cleanroom
Imagine suiting up in Tyvek, checking your respirator, and stepping into a spotless, carefully controlled environment. Your shift blends precision, teamwork, and purpose:
- Tissue Culture Origin (TCO): You’ll carry out aseptic processing while adhering to contamination control practices. You’ll set up, operate, monitor, and tear down equipment; follow cGMPs, batch records, manufacturing directions, and SOPs; manage materials; and partner across teams to meet daily targets.
- Filling & Aseptic Processing: You’ll prepare and operate vaccine filling equipment across multiple lines and product presentations, execute cleanroom procedures in a GMP-regulated setting, and maintain aseptic conditions with proper gowning and PPE.
- Lyophilization & Capping: You’ll load freeze dryers to support lyophilization when applicable and complete final capping activities, including aluminum seals, while safely operating equipment involving steam and related processes.
- Quality & Compliance: You’ll accurately complete batch records, SOPs, and other GMP documentation; follow site procedures and regulatory requirements; manage inventory precisely; and uphold all safety and financial procedures.
- Teamwork & Collaboration: You’ll work closely with a small cleanroom team, communicate across multiple departments, and contribute to a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
