• Role Overview
• We are looking for an experienced Sterling OMS Developer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in IBM Sterling Order Management and full SDLC. The ideal candidate should have strong Java development expertise, Sterling OMS implementation experience and an understanding of AI-assisted development workflows using tools such as Gemini, Claude, GitHub Copilot or similar.
• Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, maintain and extend applications using IBM Sterling Order Management.
• Configure and implement Sterling OMS solutions based on business requirements.
• Work with the IBM Sterling Cloud version and support implementations.
• Handle patches, upgrades, installations and application enhancements.
• Develop Java-based extensions for Sterling OMS.
• Work with Java/EE, Oracle and Middleware technologies.
• Develop and manage integrations between Sterling OMS and enterprise applications.
• Work with Microservices and REST APIs.
• Support functional testing, troubleshooting and production issues.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Order Management application team.
• Apply AI tools such as Gemini, Claude, GitHub Copilot or similar within development/workflow processes.
• Required Skills
• 8+ years of experience in IBM Sterling Order Management.
• Strong hands-on experience with Sterling OMS full lifecycle development.
• Strong expertise in Java / Java EE.
• Good knowledge of Oracle and Middleware technologies.
• Experience with build, deployment and enterprise integrations.
• Good understanding of Microservices and REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of functional testing and troubleshooting.
• Exposure to Gemini / Claude / GitHub Copilot / AI-assisted development workflows.
• Experience providing technical leadership to development teams.
• IBM Sterling OMS Certification is preferred.
• IBM Call Center experience is an added advantage.
