Steward

About the Role

PISON Group is seeking a hardworking, responsible, and detail-oriented Steward to join our culinary team in Bali. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, washing and sanitizing kitchen equipment and utensils, and supporting smooth daily kitchen operations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, stewarding area, and storage areas
• Clean kitchen floors, sinks, drains, and other assigned areas
• Ensure all cleaned equipment and utensils are properly stored
• Collect and dispose of waste according to company procedures
• Assist with maintaining proper hygiene and sanitation throughout the kitchen
• Refill cleaning supplies and report shortages to the Supervisor
• Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and properly
• Report damaged equipment, utensils, or facilities to the Supervisor
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing kitchen supplies when required
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods
• Follow company SOPs, hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Assist with daily kitchen opening and closing duties
• Perform other operational duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Steward, Kitchen Steward, or in a similar role is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of kitchen cleaning and sanitation procedures
• Understanding of hygiene and workplace safety standards
• Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment properly
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
• Responsible, disciplined, and well-organized
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow instructions and company procedures
