Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and proper sanitation of the kitchen, equipment, utensils, and work areas to support smooth daily kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, glassware, and other kitchen items.
• Ensure all kitchen areas, including floors, sinks, storage areas, and workstations, are kept clean and hygienic.
• Operate and maintain the dishwashing area and related equipment properly.
• Dispose of garbage and waste according to established hygiene and safety procedures.
• Assist the kitchen team with basic cleaning and support tasks when required.
• Ensure adequate availability of clean utensils, plates, and kitchen equipment during operations.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of waste storage areas and ensure proper waste segregation.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, occupational health, and safety standards.
• Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues, or hygiene concerns to the supervisor.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
