Steward

Beyond catering is looking for a dependable Steward to join our catering team. You will keep our kitchen, equipment and event service areas clean, organized and hygienic.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize and store dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans and utensils
• Clean and maintain kitchen areas, floors, counters, storage areas and equipment
• Set up, clear and clean buffet and service areas at catering events
• Load, transport and unload equipment, crockery and supplies for off-site events
• Sort and store deliveries and stock as directed
• Dispose of waste properly and keep waste areas clean
• Assist the kitchen team with basic food preparation when needed
• Operate dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment safely
• Report damaged or missing equipment to the supervisor

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a steward, kitchen helper or dishwasher in a restaurant, hotel or catering company.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, holidays and late-night events
• Good teamwork and discipline
• English, Hindi or Arabic is an advantage

Pay: Up to AED1,300.00 per month
