Steward

Job Summary

The Hotel Steward is responsible for providing excellent service to guests, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the restaurant and service areas, and supporting the Food & Beverage team in smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests in a polite and professional manner.
• Set up tables, dining areas, and service stations before service.
• Serve food and beverages according to hotel standards.
• Take guest orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen/bar team.
• Clear and clean tables promptly after guests finish their meals.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant, service areas, cutlery, crockery, and equipment.
• Refill water, condiments, napkins, and other service items as required.
• Assist in buffet setup, replenishment, and clearing.
• Assist with banquet, room service, events, and other F&B operations when required.
• Support the team during busy periods and perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification: 10th/12th pass; hotel management qualification is an advantage.
• Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
• Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Pleasant personality, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
