Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Steward role based in Gurugram. The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in dining and service areas, including setting up tables, polishing cutlery and glassware, and ensuring that all service equipment is ready for use. The role involves supporting food and beverage service by assisting servers, refilling water and beverages, clearing tables efficiently, and coordinating with kitchen staff for timely delivery of orders. The Steward will greet guests courteously, respond to guest requests, and uphold brand standards for hospitality and presentation throughout each shift. The position also includes following safety and hygiene protocols, adhering to company policies, and participating in training to improve service quality.

Qualifications

• Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and professional demeanor.
• Effective Communication abilities to coordinate with team members and interact respectfully with guests.
• Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, including table setting, menu basics, and service etiquette.
• Experience or willingness to participate in Training related to hospitality standards, hygiene, and safety.
• Fundamental Food Service skills, including clearing, serving, and handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible shifts, and perform physically active tasks.
• Previous experience in restaurants, hotels, or similar hospitality environments is an advantage.
• Basic education and conversational proficiency in English and local languages preferred.
