Steward / Hostess

Job Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests warmly and professionally.
• Assist guests with seating, table allocation, and menu presentation.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and coordinate with the kitchen/service team.
• Serve food and beverages as per restaurant service standards.
• Handle guest queries, requests, and basic complaints professionally.
• Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waiting lists when required.
• Ensure tables are clean, properly arranged, and ready for guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining and reception areas.
• Coordinate with the Restaurant Manager and service team for smooth restaurant operations.
• Provide attentive and prompt service throughout the guest's visit.
• Assist with special occasions, VIP guests, and events.
• Maintain proper knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and ongoing promotions.
• Follow restaurant SOPs, grooming standards, hygiene practices, and service procedures.
• Support the team during busy hours and ensure smooth guest flow.
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in restaurants, hotels, hospitality, or customer service.
• Freshers with good communication skills may also be considered.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of food & beverage service.
• Pleasant, confident, and professional personality.
• Good customer-handling skills.
• Well-groomed and presentable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer knowledge is preferred.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
