Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and vigilant Steward SpectatorSafety Level 2 to ensure the safety and security of spectators at our events. This role involves monitoring crowd behavior, managing access points, and providing exceptional guest services to create a safe, welcoming environment. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital part in maintaining order, preventing incidents, and delivering an outstanding experience for all attendees. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help foster a positive atmosphere while upholding safety standards.

Duties

• Monitor spectator areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations and event policies
• Manage entry and exit points, verifying tickets and controlling access for guests and staff
• Conduct regular patrols of the venue to identify potential safety hazards or disturbances
• Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, coordinating with security or emergency services as needed
• Provide excellent guest services by assisting spectators with directions, information, or concerns
• Enforce crowd control measures to prevent overcrowding and ensure smooth flow of attendees
• Maintain detailed records of incidents, safety checks, and access logs to support ongoing safety efforts

Requirements

• Must have Spectator Safety for Stewarding certification.
• Previous experience in management, hospitality, or guest services is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
• Ability to remain calm and assertive in high-pressure environments
• Physical fitness to stand, walk, and respond quickly throughout event durations
• Knowledge of safety protocols and crowd management techniques
• A positive attitude with a passion for creating safe and enjoyable experiences for guests

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 48.0 per week
