Stewarding / F&B Assistant

1. Support kitchen operations and assist chefs in food preparation
2. Handle stewarding duties including washing dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and maintaining cleanliness
3. Ensure kitchen and pantry areas are clean, organized, and hygienic at all times
4. Assist in basic cooking and preparation tasks when required
5. Support event setup, food packing and operational execution
6. Follow instructions from chefs and supervisors efficiently
7. Practice teamwork and assist other operational areas when necessary
8. Maintain punctuality, discipline, and professional communication during operations
9. Provide support during peak hours to ensure smooth operations
10. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by F&B Operations Manager.

Job Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in a stewarding or kitchen assistant role is preferred but not required
2. Team player, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively
3. Strong attention to detail and hygiene standards
4. Positive attitude and good communication skills with team and customer
5. Flexibility with hours is necessary, as weekend and holiday shifts may be required to accommodate cafe operations
6. Have a food handler certificate/ Typhoid Certificate and is aware of regulations concerning F&B
7. This position requires standing for long periods and may involve lifting heavy ingredients or kitchen equipment
