The Role

Want flexible hours, steady work, and a job where you’re outdoors instead of stuck inside? We’re looking for reliable Site Traffic Management Specialists (STMS), Traffic Management Operatives (TMO), and Traffic Controllers (TTMW) to join our crew in the South Island.

As an STMS, you will be responsible for the safe setup, management, and oversight of traffic management sites. This includes ensuring compliance with traffic management plans, supervising crews, and keeping both workers and the public safe.

As a Traffic Management Operative (TMO) or a Traffic Controller, you’ll be on the frontline of road safety, directing traffic and ensuring worksites are safe for crews and the public. It’s a great role if you want flexible hours, variety, and the chance to start building a career in traffic management.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Controlling traffic using Stop/Go.
• Helping set up traffic management sites.
• Keeping the public and your crew safe.
• Working closely with your STMS and team.
