Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including pediatrics, memory care, and home care. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong caregiving skills and have experience working with individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in patient care areas.
• Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with medical terminology standards.
• Assist in mobility and transportation of patients within the facility or home setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.

Experience

• Previous experience in caregiving or as a nursing assistant is preferred.
• Familiarity with pediatrics, memory care, home care, or critical care environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial for effective communication within the healthcare team.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in behavioral health settings is highly valued.
• A valid STNA certification is required.
