Stock & Warehouse Operator

About the role

Working closely with our manufacturing and delivery teams, you will be responsible for the day-to-day movement, control and organisation of stock and materials throughout our warehouse and factory.

Key responsibilities

• Receiving and checking incoming stock and materials
• Maintaining accurate stock levels and records
• Picking and preparing materials for production
• Loading and unloading deliveries and trucks
• Moving and storing stock safely and efficiently
• Preparing finished products and materials for dispatch
• Assisting with regular stocktakes and inventory checks
• Identifying stock discrepancies, damage or shortages
• Keeping warehouse and storage areas clean, organised and safe
• Operating a forklift and other warehouse equipment

About you

• Reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
• Physically fit and comfortable with a hands-on role
• Well organised with good attention to detail
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Safety conscious and committed to doing things correctly
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• A good communicator with a positive, can-do attitude
• Willing to learn and take on new responsibilities
• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, building industry or stock control experience will be highly regarded
• A current forklift licence is desirable, although training may be available for the right person
