We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Stock Assistant to join our Manchester team.
You'll play an important role in keeping stock organised, shelves replenished and daily operations running smoothly. From receiving deliveries to making sure products are ready for customers, you'll help keep everything moving behind the scenes.
Whether you're starting your first job or looking for a fresh opportunity in retail, you'll receive the training and support needed to get started.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Stock Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving deliveries and checking stock against orders
- Unpacking, sorting and organising products
- Replenishing shelves and maintaining product displays
- Keeping stockrooms clean, tidy and well organised
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages
- Assisting with stock counts and inventory checks
- Helping colleagues locate products when needed
- Following health and safety procedures when handling goods
What We're Looking For
You don't need previous stockroom or warehouse experience. We're looking for someone with a practical attitude who enjoys getting things done.
- Organised, reliable and hardworking
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable with active, hands-on work
- Able to follow instructions and work independently
- Enjoys working as part of a team
- Punctual and responsible
- Willing to learn new systems and procedures
Previous experience in retail, stock control or warehouse operations is welcome, but not essential.
Training & Development
You'll receive hands-on training in stock handling, inventory management, stockroom organisation and workplace safety.
As you gain experience, you'll build an understanding of how retail operations work behind the scenes, with potential opportunities to develop into stock control, inventory coordination or supervisory roles.
What We Offer
- Full training provided: Learn the role with practical support from the team.
- Active working environment: Stay busy with varied, hands-on responsibilities.
- Valuable experience: Develop organisation, stock management and teamwork skills.
