We are hiring a Stock Associate to support receiving, inventory organization, replenishment, and general stockroom operations at our San Diego location.

This is a physically active position. You'll spend much of your shift receiving merchandise, opening and sorting cartons, moving products into designated storage areas, replenishing the sales floor, and keeping inventory organized so products can be located quickly.

The position is best suited to someone who works accurately, can follow an established inventory process, and doesn't need to be constantly reminded what needs to be done next.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Receiving Deliveries

When shipments arrive, you'll help move merchandise into the receiving area and begin processing it for the store.

You'll:

• Unload and receive incoming merchandise
• Open cartons and sort products by department or storage location
• Compare delivered merchandise against shipment information
• Check products for visible damage, missing items, or incorrect quantities
• Report discrepancies to a supervisor before merchandise is put away
• Label or prepare inventory according to store procedures
• Break down boxes and dispose of packaging safely

Stockroom & Inventory

Keeping the stockroom organized is an important part of this job.

Products need to be stored correctly so other team members can find them without searching through boxes or moving unrelated inventory.

You'll be expected to:

• Put merchandise into assigned stockroom locations
• Maintain organized shelves, racks, and storage areas
• Rotate inventory when required
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory checks
• Investigate basic inventory discrepancies
• Update stock information using company inventory or handheld systems
• Keep receiving and storage areas clear of unnecessary packaging and obstructions

Throughout the shift, you'll monitor merchandise levels and move products from the stockroom to the sales floor.

This includes:

• Replenishing products when shelves or displays are running low
• Placing merchandise in the correct location
• Checking product labels and pricing information
• Straightening merchandise while restocking
• Identifying empty locations or low-stock products
• Communicating inventory issues to the appropriate team member
• Helping customers locate products when approached

What We're Looking For

Previous stocking, retail, warehouse, grocery, merchandising, or inventory experience is helpful, but it isn't required.

We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:

• Reliability and consistent attendance
• Good attention to detail
• The ability to follow inventory and safety procedures
• Basic computer or handheld device skills
• Good organization and time management
• The ability to complete tasks independently
• A willingness to help teammates when priorities change

Paid training will be provided on our inventory procedures, equipment, and store processes.
