Stock Associate

Our Culver City creative design studio is expanding, and we’re looking for a Stock Associate to keep its materials, samples, supplies, and equipment organized and ready for use.

This is a practical, active position for someone who enjoys staying busy, keeping things in order, and working with different people throughout the day. You’ll support studio colleagues, receive deliveries, maintain accurate inventory, and make sure materials can be found quickly when a project needs them.

The role at a glance

• Pay: $21.50–$24.50 per hour
• Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
• Employment: Full-time
• Location: On-site in Culver City, CA 90232

As a Stock Associate, you will:

• Receive deliveries and check items against packing slips and purchase information.
• Inspect materials for damage, shortages, or incorrect quantities.
• Label and store paper, packaging materials, print samples, props, equipment, and studio supplies.
• Update inventory records when items arrive, move, or are distributed.
• Complete regular stock counts and report differences accurately.
• Monitor supply levels and notify the appropriate colleague when materials need replenishing.
• Prepare requested materials and samples for designers and project teams.
• Organize outgoing packages, samples, and supplier returns.
• Keep storage areas, shelves, and shared supply spaces clean and easy to navigate.
• Help locate materials quickly when project priorities change.
• Communicate delivery updates, missing items, and stock issues to the studio team.
• Follow safe handling and storage procedures throughout the working day.

We’d like to meet someone who:

• Likes having a clear task list and seeing visible progress during a shift.
• Naturally keeps spaces organized and notices when something is out of place.
• Pays attention to product names, quantities, labels, and storage locations.
• Communicates clearly with designers, suppliers, couriers, and studio colleagues.
• Can move between receiving deliveries, updating inventory, and preparing materials.
• Takes ownership of a task and follows it through to completion.
• Is comfortable using everyday computer tools and learning an inventory system.
• Can safely lift and move boxes or studio materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Works well independently while remaining part of a collaborative creative team.

You do not need to know every type of print, packaging, or design material before joining. The team will explain how supplies are categorized, how inventory is recorded, and how materials move through the studio. Reliability, organization, and a willingness to learn will matter most.
