Responsibilities

• Stock shelves, produce sections, or warehouse storage areas with merchandise, ensuring products are well-organized and accessible.
• Conduct regular inventory control checks to identify discrepancies and assist with cycle counts or audits.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stockroom or warehouse area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by loading and unloading trucks, verifying shipments against purchase orders, and preparing items for distribution.
• Support merchandising efforts by packaging products for display or shipment, applying retail store product knowledge to enhance presentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members across departments, including bilingual communication skills when necessary, to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and stock management.
• Physical ability to lift heavy items regularly while following safe lifting practices; manual handling experience is advantageous.
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying inventory quantities accurately.
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
• Knowledge of retail merchandising, shipping & receiving procedures, and general warehouse operations is beneficial.

Pay: $24.15 - $28.87 per hour
