Stock Associate

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and reliable Stock Associate to join our retail or warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining organized stock levels, assisting with inventory control, and supporting daily store or warehouse operations. Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and organize incoming shipments using equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.
• Stock shelves, produce sections, or warehouse areas with products while ensuring proper labeling and placement.
• Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies.
• Operate material handling equipment safely to load and unload goods, adhering to safe lifting practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including packaging and shipping areas.
• Support retail sales by replenishing stock on the sales floor and providing product knowledge when needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations and excellent customer service.

Skills

• Experience operating RF scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and stock management.
• Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform manual handling tasks regularly. Must be able to lift 40LBs consecutively.
• Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and grocery store operations is advantageous.
• Good communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interactions.
• Basic math skills for inventory counting, pricing, and transaction support.
