Warehouse stock associate (some weekends and holidays are required)

Warehouse hours 8am - 4pm

Looking to hire immediately at $19 an hour, conducting interviews Oct 22nd - 25th between 10am - 7pm.

In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining organized, well-stocked shelves and ensuring the smooth flow of inventory throughout the store. Your proactive approach will help create an inviting shopping experience for customers while supporting efficient warehouse operations. This position offers a chance to develop valuable skills in inventory management, warehouse procedures, all while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and process shipments using RF scanners and other inventory control tools to ensure accurate stock levels.
• Stock shelves, produce sections, and display merchandise neatly and attractively, adhering to merchandising standards.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely to move large quantities of stock within the warehouse or sales floor.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records through inventory management systems to prevent stock discrepancies.
• Assist with shipping and receiving duties, including loading and unloading trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Support maintenance tasks like cleaning storage areas, organizing stockrooms, and ensuring safety standards are met.
• Collaborate with team members on stocking projects, merchandising initiatives, and store organization to enhance overall store presentation.
• Handle online orders that needs to be pulled, processed and shipped.
• Communicate effectively across teams in multiple languages if applicable to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Experience

• Previous warehouse or retail experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanners is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail to manage stock levels accurately.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during stocking or shipment activities.
• Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a valuable asset for serving diverse customers.
• Knowledge of retail store operations or retail math can be beneficial in managing stock levels effectively.

Pay: $19.00 per hour
