Stock Checkers

We are seeking smart, detail-oriented, and reliable Stock Checkers to join a beverage sales and distribution company located on Sapele Road, Benin City.

The successful candidates will be responsible for verifying stock dispatched and sold against the corresponding receipts and sales records. They will ensure that the quantity of drinks leaving the sales point matches the quantity stated on the relevant receipts and promptly report any discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

● Cross-check drinks and other stock items at the point of sale or dispatch.

● Verify that the quantity of stock issued corresponds with the quantities stated on sales receipts and dispatch documents.

● Identify and report shortages, excess stock, incorrect entries, and other discrepancies.

● Ensure that all stock movements are properly documented.

● Maintain accurate daily records of stock checked and dispatched.

● Work closely with sales representatives, storekeepers, and other relevant staff to ensure accurate stock handling.

● Report discrepancies and irregularities to the appropriate supervisor or manager.

● Assist with periodic stock counts and inventory reconciliation.

● Ensure that company stock is properly accounted for before leaving the sales or dispatch point.

Requirements and Qualifications

● Minimum of ND, HND, or BSc in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

● At least 2 years of relevant work experience.

● Previous experience working as a Stock Checker, Dispatch Checker, Inventory Checker, or in a similar role is required.

● Must be computer literate and able to use basic computer applications for record-keeping.

● Good numerical, analytical, and observation skills.

● Must be smart, honest, organised, and detail-oriented.

● Ability to identify discrepancies and maintain accurate records.

● Good communication skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Work Schedule

● Working Days: Monday to Saturday

● Resumption Time: 8:00 AM

● Closing Time: 5:00 PM
