The role in short

As a member of the Stock Control team, you will support all Operational teams across two sites, ensuring that the day-to-day accuracy of all inventory levels is maintained. To investigate and report all stock related anomalies / discrepancies and to reflect the true integrity level of all stock, within all Plumbworld operations systems.

37.5 hour contract
Starting salary of £28,762.50 (£14.75 per hour) working 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday

Onto the nitty gritty!

• Carry out, targeted, daily P.I. checks of Inventory, fully investigating and validating stock differences
• Reconcile stock shortages and report back to Inventory Manager all issues
• Daily checking of empty bins locations for stock.
• Managing and clearing of the “special bins” e.g., damage, cancelled orders, QC and cannot finds.
• Provide key information for the generation of weekly reports
• Management of stock moves into and out of third-party storage locations.
• Reconcile daily stock moves between warehouses, ensuring all discrepancies are cleared
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment, ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed.
• Promote high standards of accuracy, quality, integrity, and safe working practices within the warehouse environment.
• Fulfil other duties, in support of the operation, as and when requested by Operations Management

We’d like to meet someone with

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Computer literate, able to use basic Microsoft packages, with proficiency in Excel
• Conscientious and reliable
• Good communication skills and the ability to challenge and solve problems
• High attention to detail, especially when working in high pressured environments
• Ability to prioritise workload
• Capable of working under own initiative
• Full driving Licence
• MHE licences – Forklifts and Scissor lifting platforms
