Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Stock Controller to join our perfume company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, maintaining accurate inventory records, managing stock movements, and ensuring the proper storage and availability of perfumes, fragrance oils, packaging materials, and related products.

The candidate must be organized, reliable, and capable of maintaining accurate stock records while coordinating with the warehouse, sales, and purchasing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels of perfumes, fragrance oils, bottles, caps, boxes, packaging materials, and other related items.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Record all stock receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments in the inventory system.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of perfume products and materials.
• Monitor stock movement and identify low-stock, fast-moving, slow-moving, and excess-stock items.
• Coordinate with the purchasing and sales teams to ensure product availability.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
• Investigate stock discrepancies, damaged items, and missing products, and report them to management.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of perfumes and fragrance products to prevent leakage, breakage, and damage.
• Maintain an organized and clean stockroom or warehouse.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Stock Controller, Inventory Controller, Storekeeper, or in a similar position.
• Experience in the perfume, cosmetics, FMCG, or retail industry is an advantage.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to conduct stock counts and maintain accurate records.
• Good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Honest, dependable, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling perfumes, fragrance oils, cosmetics, or packaging materials.
• Familiarity with stock management software or ERP systems.
• Ability to prepare inventory reports and maintain proper documentation.
