Stock Controller

Role Description The Stock Controller is responsible for managing and monitoring all stock and inventory movements at the Ferndale, Ranfburg site. This contract, on-site role includes maintaining accurate stock records, performing regular stock counts, and reconciling discrepancies. The role involves overseeing stock receiving and dispatch processes, ensuring correct documentation, and coordinating with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams to maintain optimal stock levels. The Stock Controller will also track usage trends, update systems, support reporting on inventory performance, and follow safety and compliance guidelines within the storage areas.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability in Stock Control and Stock Management to ensure accurate tracking, recording, and handling of inventory.
• Experience with Inventory Control, including stocktakes, reconciliations, and maintaining optimal stock levels.
• Strong Analytical Skills to interpret stock data, identify variances, and support continuous process improvements.
• Effective Communication skills to collaborate with warehouse, procurement, sales, and leadership teams.
• Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environment, preferably in technical or power-related products.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Excel or similar tools.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, on-site setting.
• Relevant qualification from a recognised institution in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management is a necessity.
