About the role

ZI LIAN (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Stock Management to join our dynamic team in Melaka. This full-time position is crucial in ensuring inventory accuracy, maintaining optimal stock levels, and supporting smooth warehouse and operational activities. The successful candidate will work closely with the Purchasing, Warehouse and Finance teams to ensure effective stock control and inventory management.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records and stock transactions.
• Perform stock receiving, issuing, transferring, and inventory adjustment activities.
• Conduct regular stock checks, cycle counts, and annual stock audits.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
• Update inventory data in SQL-based Inventory Management Systems and ERP systems.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, handling, and distribution of inventory items.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment activities to prevent stock shortages.
• Prepare inventory reports, stock movement reports, and stock variance analysis.
• Maintain accurate electronic inventory records and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Production departments to ensure inventory availability.

About you

• Education level: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Inventory Management, or equivalent.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with SQL-based inventory systems and stock management software.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of stock management, inventory control, warehouse operations, or related working experience.
• Good understanding of inventory control procedures and stock reconciliation processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control practices.
• Good attitude and attendance record.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
