The Position

As a Stocker/Cashier, you'll play an important role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers while keeping the store clean, organized, and fully stocked. This position is ideal for someone seeking flexible, part-time work with growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Cashiering

• Greet customers with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Answer product questions and help customers find what they need.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions.
• Handle customer questions, returns, and exchanges professionally.
• Verify customer identification and follow all applicable laws and store policies regarding alcohol sales, including refusing sales when legally required.
• Assist customers with Massachusetts State Lottery transactions, if applicable, following store procedures and lottery regulations.

Stocking & Store Maintenance

• Unload deliveries and stock shelves, coolers, and displays.
• Organize merchandise and rotate products using the first-in, first-out (FIFO) method.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting store environment.
• Assist with inventory counts and processing new shipments.
• Lift and stock cases of beer and wine.

What We're Looking For

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Availability to work a flexible part-time schedule, including shifts across all seven days of the week as needed.
• Previous retail, cashiering, or cash-handling experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
• Massachusetts State Lottery experience is a plus, including familiarity with lottery ticket sales, terminal operation, and prize redemption. Applicants willing to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Successful completion of a background check is required.
