Responsibilities

• Efficiently load and unload shipments using material handling equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual handling techniques.
• Stock shelves, racks, and storage areas with products including produce, retail store items, and grocery goods while maintaining proper inventory levels.
• Conduct regular inventory control checks to identify discrepancies and assist with inventory management processes.
• Prepare products for shipping and receiving by packaging, labeling, and organizing items according to company standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment by following safety protocols for heavy lifting, safe lifting practices, and general maintenance duties.
• Support retail store operations through merchandising, stocking shelves, and providing excellent customer service when needed.
• Use communication skills to coordinate with team members across shifts, ensuring smooth warehouse operations and timely deliveries.

Experience

• Prior warehouse experience is highly preferred, especially in retail or grocery store environments involving stock management.
• Proficiency with RF scanners, forklift operation, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment is essential.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to enhance communication within diverse teams.
• Basic math skills for inventory counts, retail math calculations, and shipping documentation are required.
• Experience in retail sales or customer service roles can be advantageous for supporting store operations.
• Knowledge of safe lifting practices, manual handling techniques, and shipping & receiving procedures ensures compliance with safety standards.
