Duties

• Manage inventory levels through accurate stock replenishment, stocking shelves, and organizing backroom storage areas
• Operate RF scanners and pallet jacks to efficiently load, unload, and move products within the store or warehouse
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments, inspecting items for quality, and updating inventory records
• Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively and ensuring displays are tidy and inviting
• Perform heavy lifting tasks regularly to handle large or bulky items safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of the stockroom and sales floor by performing routine cleaning and organization tasks
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers in locating products and answering inquiries with clear communication

Experience

• Prior warehouse experience or retail stocking background preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Familiarity with inventory management systems, RF scanners, and warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stock control and product placement
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical demands of the role
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist customers effectively
• Previous experience in grocery stores or retail environments involving shipping & receiving, merchandising, or cashiering is beneficial
