Duties

• Receive incoming shipments using RF scanners and manually unload goods with proper safety techniques
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse tools to load, unload, and transport products
• Stock shelves accurately according to store layout plans, ensuring products are organized for easy access
• Maintain inventory control by conducting regular stock counts and updating inventory management systems
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing products for shipping or retail display
• Support shipping & receiving processes by loading and unloading trucks efficiently and safely
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe by following proper maintenance and manual handling practices

Skills

• Proficiency with RF scanners, forklift operation, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and management
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer needs
• Experience in retail store operations or grocery environments is highly desirable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and managing stock levels accurately
• Knowledge of merchandising, product placement, and retail math principles
• Effective teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
• Multilingual capabilities enhance customer service interactions in diverse communities
• Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures and materials handling equipment operation
