You'll ensure shelves are well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing while efficiently handling retail sales transactions. Responsibilities

• Stock shelves accurately and efficiently, ensuring products are organized and visually appealing to encourage sales
• Operate cash registers and POS (Point of Sale) systems to process retail sales transactions with precision and speed
• Handle cash drawer operations, including cash handling, balancing registers, and issuing receipts
• Assist customers with product inquiries, including product demos and upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience
• Maintain store merchandising standards by arranging products neatly and replenishing stock as needed
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and offering assistance with store navigation
• Support inventory management through stock counting, product labeling, and reporting low-stock items

Skills

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers and team members
• Experience operating POS systems and handling cash register operations accurately
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills in retail or similar environments
• Knowledge of retail store product merchandising, stocking procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone professionally
• Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for cash handling and sales calculations
• Familiarity with retail sales techniques including upselling and product demos to boost sales performance
