Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering product recommendations
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Basic knowledge of liquor, beer and THC products to help answer customers queries.
• Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store is tidy and well-merchandised to maximize sales potential
• Assist with inventory management by stocking new products and conducting stock counts regularly
• Handle cashier duties with accuracy, including cash register operations, cash drawer handling, and basic math calculations for transactions
• Maintain professional phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or scheduling appointments

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience or grocery store experience preferred; familiarity with retail store product knowledge is a plus
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers in bilingual environments if applicable
• Experience supervising or leading team members is advantageous but not required; leadership qualities are appreciated
• Proficiency in POS systems, retail math, cash register operations, and cash handling procedures
• Ability to perform stocking duties efficiently while maintaining safety standards
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and proactive problem-solving approach
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing cash drawers effectively

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
