Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Ability to heavy lift 50+ lbs and keep items & stock organized
• Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure products are readily available and visually appealing
• Operate cash registers accurately during retail sales transactions, including cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) system usage
• Assist customers with product inquiries, provide product demos when applicable, and guide them through their shopping experience
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom areas
• Upsell products by recommending additional items that enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
• Handle cash drawer operations with precision, ensuring accurate cash handling and reconciliation at shift end
• Support merchandising efforts by setting up displays and ensuring product placement aligns with store standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is required; training will be provided
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and bilingual abilities are a plus
• Basic math skills for cash register operations and retail math calculations
• Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service
• Knowledge of retail store product knowledge and merchandising techniques is advantageous
• Supervising experience is a plus for candidates interested in growth opportunities within the team
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks associated with stocking duties

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
