Stocker/Cashier

This is a hands-on, physically active role that combines stocking merchandise, maintaining store organization, operating the cash register, and assisting customers.

We're looking for someone who takes initiative, works efficiently, and understands that there's always something to be done in a busy retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and organize deliveries of beer, wine, liquor, and other merchandise.
• Stock and replenish shelves, coolers, and displays throughout the store.
• Rotate inventory and maintain organized stock areas.
• Operate the cash register accurately, processing cash, credit, and debit transactions.
• Verify customer identification and follow all applicable alcohol sales laws and store policies.
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service.
• Assist customers with locating products and carrying purchases when needed.
• Maintain clean, organized shelves, coolers, stockrooms, and sales areas.
• Break down cardboard, dispose of trash, and assist with general store cleaning.
• Monitor inventory and notify management of low stock or damaged merchandise.
• Assist with other store responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to take initiative.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Friendly, professional attitude when interacting with customers.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Previous retail, cashier, stocking, or warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn store procedures and follow all applicable alcohol sales regulations.

Schedule & Availability

• Full-time position
• Weekend availability is required.
• Flexibility to work additional shifts during holidays, seasonal peaks, and other busy periods is required.
• Applicants must have reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

The ideal candidate doesn't need to be constantly reminded what needs to be done. Whether it's unloading a delivery, restocking a cooler, assisting a customer, or running the register, they take pride in keeping the store running smoothly.

Compensation: Based on experience

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
