Duties

• Stock shelves efficiently by receiving shipments, organizing products, and ensuring merchandise is properly displayed to maximize sales opportunities.
• Operate cash registers accurately during retail transactions, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with professionalism and precision.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions about products, and offering helpful recommendations.
• Conduct product demos when appropriate to showcase features and benefits, enhancing customer engagement and driving upselling opportunities.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including merchandising displays to attract customers and promote featured products.
• Assist with inventory management by conducting stock counts, restocking shelves, and notifying management of low inventory levels.
• Handle phone inquiries courteously, providing information about store hours, product availability, or directing calls to appropriate team members.

Skills

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently in both English and bilingual settings.
• Proven experience in retail sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems; familiarity with cash register operations is essential.
• Demonstrated supervising experience or ability to oversee stockroom organization and team coordination when needed.
• Knowledge of retail store product knowledge and merchandising techniques to enhance visual displays.
• Excellent cash handling skills including managing cash drawers accurately and performing basic math calculations quickly.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service by demonstrating phone etiquette, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in upselling products or services to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a friendly approach.

Pay: $23.79 - $28.65 per hour
