Stocker/Cleaner – Gas StationPosition Summary

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and customer-focused Stocker/Cleaner to join our gas station team. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming environment for our customers and employees.

The Stocker/Cleaner will be responsible for keeping the convenience store fully stocked, maintaining cleanliness throughout the property, and ensuring the fuel pump and customer areas are neat and presentable at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock shelves, coolers, freezers, and displays with beverages, snacks, and other merchandise.
• Receive and organize deliveries and properly store incoming products.
• Rotate products and check expiration dates as needed.
• Keep shelves, displays, and coolers clean, organized, and properly faced.
• Clean and maintain the sales floor, checkout area, windows, doors, and other customer areas.
• Clean and maintain restrooms throughout the day.
• Empty trash cans and maintain clean trash and disposal areas.
• Keep fuel pump areas, sidewalks, and parking areas clean and free of litter and debris.
• Clean spills promptly and report any safety hazards to management.
• Maintain a clean and organized storage area.
• Follow all company safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and appropriately.
• Assist customers in a friendly and professional manner when needed.
• Report damaged merchandise, equipment issues, spills, or other maintenance concerns to management.
• Assist with other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the station.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a gas station, convenience store, retail, stocking, cleaning, or customer service is preferred.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Friendly and professional attitude toward customers and coworkers.
• Ability to follow instructions and company procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Must be willing to perform both stocking and cleaning duties.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying.
• Ability to lift and move boxes, cases of beverages, and other merchandise.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely use cleaning supplies, equipment, and tools.

Work Environment

This position involves working inside the convenience store as well as outside around fuel pumps, sidewalks, and parking areas. Employees may be exposed to varying weather conditions and must follow all applicable safety procedures when working around fuel pumps and other station equipment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $11.00 per hour
