About the role

GO FRESH SUPERMART is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Stockman to join our retail team on a full-time basis. This role is essential to our operations, ensuring that our store shelves are well-stocked, organised, and visually appealing for our customers. As a Stockman, you will be responsible for receiving, organising, and displaying merchandise throughout the store, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of our Ermita Manila City location. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic retail environment where your contributions directly impact customer satisfaction and store success.

What you'll be doing

• Receive and unload merchandise deliveries, ensuring accuracy against delivery notes and store requirements
• Stock shelves and displays with merchandise, maintaining proper organisation, rotation, and presentation standards
• Monitor stock levels throughout the store and notify management of items requiring reordering or repositioning
• Perform regular stock takes and inventory checks to maintain accurate records
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including aisles, storage areas, and stock rooms, in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Rotate stock using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method to minimise waste and ensure product freshness
• Assist with price labelling, promotional displays, and merchandise arrangement as directed
• Help customers locate products and answer basic queries about merchandise availability and location
• Report any damaged, expired, or defective stock to management immediately
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols

What we're looking for

• High School Graduate/College Level
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy items regularly throughout shifts
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining stock accuracy and store presentation standards
• Willing to work in shifting schedule
• Willing to lift heavy equipment and other warehouse items
• Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
• Team player mentality with willingness to support colleagues and follow management direction
• Familiarity with retail point-of-sale systems or inventory management software is advantageous
