Stockman

About the role

This role involves receiving, checking, and properly handling incoming stocks, and supplies. You will verify delivered items against purchase orders and delivery receipts, inspect stocks for quantity, quality, damages, and discrepancies upon receipt, and report any issues immediately to the supervisor.

1. Inventory Receiving & Stock Handling

• Receive, check, and properly handle incoming stocks, supplies, and merchandise.

• Verify delivered items against purchase orders, delivery receipts, and other relevant documents.

• Inspect stocks for quantity, quality, damages, expiration dates, and discrepancies upon receipt.

• Report damaged, missing, expired, or incorrect items immediately to the supervisor.

2. Stockroom Management & Organization

• Properly store and organize stocks according to company standards and product requirements.

• Ensure that all items are properly labeled, arranged, and easily accessible.

• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of the stockroom and storage areas.

• Follow proper stock rotation procedures such as FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) when applicable.

3. Inventory Monitoring & Documentation

• Monitor stock levels and identify items that are low, overstocked, damaged, or near expiration.

• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and assist in inventory audits as required.

• Accurately record stock movements, transfers, releases, and other inventory transactions.

• Report inventory discrepancies promptly to the supervisor or Management.

4. Stock Releasing & Store Support

• Release stocks and supplies to authorized personnel or designated store areas in accordance with company procedures.

• Replenish products and supplies in the selling area, preparation area, or other designated locations as needed.

• Assist in loading, unloading, transferring, and arranging stocks safely and efficiently.

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely availability of required stocks and supplies.

5. Company Compliance

• Adhere to company policies, inventory procedures, safety standards, and operational guidelines at all times.

• Handle company stocks, equipment, and supplies responsibly and prevent loss, damage, or unauthorized use.

• Maintain professionalism and positive working relationships with customers and team members.

• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
