Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Stone Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw stone materials into finished products that meet precise specifications and high-quality standards. Your expertise in fabrication, use of hand and power tools, and adherence to safety protocols will ensure efficient production of beautiful, durable stone surfaces for a variety of applications. Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication machinery and hand tools safely to cut, shape, and finish stone materials according to blueprint specifications.
• Measure and mark stone surfaces accurately using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring devices to ensure precise dimensions.
• Follow detailed blueprints and technical drawings to execute complex fabrication projects with accuracy.
• Handle heavy stone materials with proper lifting techniques and materials handling equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
• Perform polishing, finishing, and detailing tasks to achieve smooth, high-quality surface finishes on stone products.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering strictly to safety standards including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) use such as respiratory protection and eye safety gear.
• Inspect finished products for quality control, ensuring they meet all safety regulations, dimensional measurements, and client specifications before delivery or installation.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or a related field is preferred; strong familiarity with stone or millwork is a plus.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, machining equipment, and fabrication machinery required for stone processing.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and material estimations.
• Knowledge of safety standards in production environments including PPE adherence, heavy lifting techniques, and safety protocol compliance.
• Ability to perform detailed dimensional measurements and follow blueprint specifications precisely.
• Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
