Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Stone Fabricator Shop Hand to join our team. This role involves assisting in the fabrication and finishing of stone materials, supporting installation projects, and gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. Whether you have prior experience or are eager to learn, this position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in stone work, polishing, and installation within residential and commercial settings.

Duties

• Assist in fabricating stone materials, working with various types of stones to meet project specifications.
• Perform polishing and stone finishing tasks to achieve high-quality surface appearances.
• Use tape measures and other basic tools accurately for measurements and layout work.
• Support the team in heavy lifting and material handling to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Aid in the installation of stone countertops and surfaces in both residential and commercial projects.
• Learn proper techniques for stone cutting, finishing, and installation under supervision.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Communicate effectively with team members, speaking both English and Spanish preferred, to ensure smooth workflow.

Experience

• Previous experience in stone fabrication, construction, or related trades is a plus but not required; we welcome candidates with no experience who are willing to learn.
• Basic math skills are helpful for measurement tasks.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting is essential; physically fit for demanding tasks
• Strong attention to detail in polishing and finishing work is desirable.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to stone fabrication and installation processes.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
