Stone issue

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Stone Issue Staff member to manage the issuing, receiving, counting, and tracking of stones used in gold jewellery manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Issue stones to the production and stone-setting departments according to approved job orders.
• Count and verify stones before issuing them to workers.
• Maintain accurate records of stones issued, received, returned, and used.
• Verify stone quantities against job sheets and production requirements.
• Collect unused stones and reconcile quantities after completion of work.
• Coordinate with the stone-setting, production, and store departments.
• Identify and report shortages, excess quantities, damaged stones, or discrepancies.
• Maintain daily stone issue and return registers.
• Ensure the safe handling and storage of valuable stones.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Prepare daily reports on stone movement and stock balance.
• Follow company procedures for material control and security.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a jewellery manufacturing firm is preferred.
• Experience in stone issuing, stone inventory, or jewellery production will be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of different types and sizes of jewellery stones.
• Good counting, record-keeping, and documentation skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and inventory management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Honest, responsible, and trustworthy when handling valuable materials.
• Good coordination and communication skills.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary: As per experience and company standards.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
