With over 25 years of industry experience, D&J Marble and Granite Pty Ltd is one of Sydney’s leading manufacturers of high-quality kitchen and bathroom benchtops. Since 1997, we have specialized in the supply, manufacture, and installation of marble, granite, and reconstituted stone products. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking 3 skilled and motivated Stonemasons to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

Cuts and shapes hard and soft stone blocks and masonry slabs to

construct and renovate stone structures and monumental masonry.

Job duties:

· Read and interpret technical plans, drawings and customer specifications to prepare stone components to the correct dimensions

· Checking vertical and horizontal alignment

· Cutting, shaping and polishing stones and bricks using machines and
hand tools, and shaping bricks to fit irregular spaces

· Experience in the use of stonemason machinery

· Designing and cutting monumental masonry and lettering

· Constructing walls using stone slabs and large masonry slab blocks

Selection Criteria:

· At least 2 years’ stonemason experience with installing and manufacturing marble, granite and engineered stone bench tops

· Manufacture of stone including mitring, gluing, cutting and finishing

· Mitre Saw and Bridge Saw experience preferred

· Have great communication skills

· Be highly motivated, organised, reliable, punctual and have attention to detail

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
