Store Accounting Assistant

About the role

Tom's World Philippines Corporation is seeking a Store Accounting Assistant to join our growing finance team in Gaisano Masbate, Masbate. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to develop your accounting career within a dynamic retail environment.

What you'll be doing

• Processing and reconciling daily cash transactions and point-of-sale records to ensure accuracy

• Preparing and maintaining store accounting records and financial documentation

• Supporting the monthly store reconciliation process and identifying discrepancies for investigation

• Preparing store financial reports and analyzing variances between actual and budgeted figures

• Assisting with inventory valuation, stock takes and related accounting adjustments

• Supporting audit activities and ensuring all financial documentation is properly organized and filed

• Performing other accounting duties as assigned by the Finance Department

What we're looking for

• Graduate of BS Accountancy, Financial Management or any business-related courses.

• With knowledge in basic accounting principles.

• Good analytical sand organizational skills.

• Experience in Store Accounting Operations is an advantage but not required.

• Open for non-accountants and/or with NClll Certification.

• Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy in data entry and numerical work
