Store Agent

Core Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet shoppers warmly, answer questions, and provide expert product recommendations.
• Sales & Transactions: Meet individual and team sales targets, process cash or card payments, and handle returns or exchanges.
• Merchandise Management: Restock shelves, unpack inventory shipments, and keep displays organized and visually appealing.
• Store Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and ensure aisles and checkout areas remain safe and tidy. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]

Key Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (some employers prefer a college degree in business or marketing).
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal communication, active listening, and a customer-first attitude.
• Technical Skills: Basic math proficiency and familiarity with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems or cash registers.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights when restocking inventory. [1, 2, 3, 4]
