Store & Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day purchasing activities for the hotel.
• Source and evaluate vendors based on quality, price, availability, and service.
• Obtain quotations and negotiate prices and payment terms with suppliers.
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Coordinate with Stores, Kitchen, F&B, Housekeeping, and other departments regarding material requirements.
• Maintain proper purchase records, quotations, invoices, and vendor documents.
• Monitor stock requirements and coordinate with the Stores team to avoid shortages.
• Verify received materials against purchase orders and invoices.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
• Follow up on pending orders and deliveries.
• Assist in controlling purchase costs and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure purchases are made as per hotel standards and approved requirements.
• Coordinate with Accounts regarding invoices, payments, and vendor reconciliation.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel purchasing/procurement is preferred.
• Knowledge of hotel food, beverage, housekeeping, engineering, and general operating materials will be an advantage.
• Good negotiation and vendor-management skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer applications.
• Ability to compare quotations and analyse prices.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Candidates with experience in hotel procurement/purchase will be preferred.

Education

Any Graduate / Diploma
Relevant experience in Purchase/Procurement will be an advantage.

2–5 years preferred

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
