Store & Tool Keeper

The Store & Tool Keeper is responsible for the proper receiving, storage, control, issuance, return, and tracking of all spare parts, consumables, tools, testing equipment, and workshop materials used in the Diesel Generator (DG) Service Facility in Yanbu north.

The position shall ensure that technicians have the required tools and materials available when needed while maintaining accurate inventory, proper accountability, and a clean and safe store/tool room.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming spare parts, tools, equipment, lubricants, consumables, and other materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Maintain accurate records of all materials received, issued, returned, transferred, damaged, or disposed of.
• Organize and properly identify spare parts such as filters, belts, hoses, batteries, electrical components, sensors, gaskets, fasteners, lubricants, and other service consumables.
• Maintain the tool room and control the issuance and return of hand tools, power tools, special tools, lifting accessories, and testing equipment to technicians.
• Maintain a clear tool issue/return register, identifying the technician, job/work order, date of issue, and date of return.
• Check returned tools for damage, missing items, or abnormal condition and immediately report discrepancies.
• Maintain records of measuring and testing instruments requiring inspection or calibration and alert the responsible supervisor before calibration expiry.
• Maintain minimum/maximum stock levels for critical DG spare parts and consumables and advise the Workshop Manager when replenishment is required.
• Issue spare parts and consumables against approved job cards, work orders, or material requests.
• Support preparation of spare parts and tool kits for field-service technicians before mobilization to customer sites.
• Receive and reconcile unused materials and tools when field-service teams return to the facility.
• Conduct regular physical inventory and tool counts and reconcile them against system/store records.
• Identify slow-moving, obsolete, damaged, or missing materials and report them to management.
• Maintain proper storage and segregation of lubricants, chemicals, batteries, and other materials in accordance with applicable HSE requirements.
• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure that the store and tool room remain clean, organized, secure, and safe.
• Coordinate with the Workshop Manager, Service Engineers, Technicians, Procurement, and Finance as required.
• Prepare periodic inventory, tool-status, shortage, and consumption reports.
• Use the company's ERP/inventory system and maintain supporting electronic and physical records.

Qualifications & Experience

• Preferably based in Yanbu or surrounding area.
• High School Certificate as a minimum; Technical/Industrial Diploma or Diploma in Warehouse, Logistics, Mechanical or Electrical field is preferred.
• 1–3 years' experience in storekeeping, tool-room control, workshop stores, automotive/heavy-equipment maintenance, or industrial maintenance is preferred.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical tools and spare parts.
• Computer literacy, particularly MS Excel.
• Basic working English is preferred, particularly for reading part numbers, manuals, labels, and purchase documents.

Pay: ﷼4,000.00 - ﷼7,000.00 per month
