Store Assistant

Responsibilities :

• Receiving, storing, checking, retrieving, loading, unloading, repacking, and palletizing import and export cargo, in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting physical inventory counts, and ensuring proper storage and organization of goods.
• Operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, reach trucks) and ensuring their proper maintenance.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safe work procedure (SWP) and complying with company policies.
• Collaborating with team members, communicating effectively, and providing guidance to junior staff.
• Ability to identify and resolve operational issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions.
• Addressing customer complaints and resolving operational discrepancies related to warehouse operations.
• Coordinate with third-party warehouses for inventory transfers and deliveries.
• Comfortable with lifting 15-20kg goods when required.
• Performing other tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers.

Requirements :

• Experiences in a spare parts warehouse operation
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Forklift certificate
• With Class 3 licence is added advantage
• Willing to work overtime when needed
