Store Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Store Management
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the institutional store.
• Receive, inspect, and verify materials against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery challans.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, categorization, and safe custody of all materials.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper organization of the store.
• Material Issue & Distribution
• Issue materials to departments/employees against authorized requisitions.
• Maintain proper records of all materials issued and returned.
• Ensure that materials are issued only with appropriate approval.
• Track reusable items and equipment issued to staff or departments.
• Documentation & Records
• Maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), stock registers, issue slips, return notes, and other store documents.
• Keep purchase and inventory-related records properly filed.
• Prepare periodic stock and consumption reports for management.
• Assist in maintaining records required for audits.
• Stock Verification & Audit
• Conduct monthly/quarterly/annual physical stock verification as required.
• Reconcile physical stock with records and report discrepancies.
• Support internal and external auditors during stock audits.
• Maintain proper documentation of discrepancies and corrective actions.
• Safety & Security
• Ensure safe storage of materials, equipment, chemicals, electrical items, and other sensitive goods.
• Prevent unauthorized access to the store.
• Follow fire safety and institutional safety procedures.
• Report loss, damage, theft, or shortage immediately to the concerned authority.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
