Job Description - Store Assistant

Experience: 2-4 years

Education : Any Graduate

1. Receive, inspect, and verify materials against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery challans.
2. Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials in the store.
3. Issue stationery, housekeeping, maintenance, laboratory, and other school materials as per approved requisitions.
4. Maintain proper stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of essential items.
5. Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
6. Maintain stock registers, inventory records, and supporting documentation.
7. Ensure proper storage, labelling, stacking, and safe handling of materials.
8. Monitor damaged, expired, obsolete, or slow-moving items and report to the Store/Administration Manager.
9. Coordinate with departments, vendors, and the purchase team for material requirements and deliveries.
10. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and security of the store and ensure compliance with school policies and procedures.
